Violent turn to the “Bharat bandh” in Pune
There has been a violent turn to the ‘Bharat bandh’ in Pune. During the bandh, an incident happened in Kothrud Depot, where the PMP bus was set on fire. It is said that the bus was set on fire by the activists. The incident happened around 5 am. Meanwhile, on Kumthhkar road activists broke a PMP bus at 7 am.
According to the driver and conductor of the bus, bus from Warje to Chinchwad was brought out by checking from the depot in the parking lot and they went to the depot again to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, during this period bus on the road set on the fire by activists. The entire bus was burned up. Firefighters got the information about this incident at 5 am. They immediately rushed to the spot and stopped the fire. But by then the entire bus was burnt down. In the meantime, a bus was demolished and was broke at Kumthekar Road. Apart from these two incidents, there is peace in the city so far.
