Pune city’s Ganesh Festival is very famous; people from all over Maharashtra come to witness this festival. “Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati” is very popular among the people from the state. Many people come to seek blessings of “Bappa” during this festive season. A huge crowd is observed around the temple and surrounding area.
So taking this account, “Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati” Trust has given Insurance cover of Rs. 50 Crores to Devotees’ safety during festival. Unfortunately if any tragedy happens during this period, citizens of Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and people residing in Military area will be covered under the insurance. For safety purpose, the trust has also decided to install 150 CCTV cameras. Apart from Police security, additional private security staff will also be there at the venue.
Looking at these safety measures of the Trust, let’s just hope that there will not be any unfortunate incident during the festival and all people who visit to seek blessings from “Ganapati Bappa” will be more than happy.
