Price of Petrol and Diesel Increases for the 10th consecutive day
Prices of petrol and diesel are going high and high. There is a downside to the rupee in the international market as compared to the dollar which increases fuel prices. In Delhi, where prices of one liter petrol have reached around 80 rupees, the prices of petrol in the cities of Mumbai and Chennai have reached more than 85 rupees per liter. In Delhi, the price of diesel has reached more than Rs 71 per liter, while in Mumbai and Chennai it has surpassed Rs 75 per liter.
On Tuesday, the prices of petrol and diesel have been steadily rising for the 10th day. Petrol prices in Delhi increased by 16 paise a liter on Tuesday, and in this way, petrol is getting Rs 79.31 per liter per liter. Diesel prices in Delhi have increased by 19 paise per liter and it has reached 71.34 rupees per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is Rs 86.72 per liter, in Kolkata and Chennai respectively, it is 82.22 and 82.41 per liter respectively. Since August 16, petrol prices have gone up by more than Rs 2 per liter, while the price of diesel has increased by Rs 2.42 per liter. Prices of petrol and diesel have increased by 13% and 19% respectively in Delhi this calendar year.
