Pune : The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) has prepared a plan to improve power supply in Wagholi, Pune. It will spend Rs 28 Lakh in this project. After a survey by the department, the officials said it would replace the faulty meters so that accurate monthly electricity bills can be provided to the residents. The official said “Old parts in the distribution infrastructure are being replaced. The transformer at Kawadevasti will be shifted and aerial bunch cable will be laid at spots that witness frequent electricity theft”. The residents will also get a 22KV underground cable , this will reduce load on the existing distribution network.
