Parking your vehicle on the streets of the Pune city has become a big concern for the citizens. Camp area in city is about to get some relief from parking problem and traffics congestions. The Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) has decided to build 10 storey parking near East Street. As per the officials, this 10 storey parking will be built at the junction of Lloyd Road and Coyaji Road. This will surely release some pressure on traffic in this area as many shopping complexes, commercial complexes are there and car parking is done on the streets only.
As per the officials, this 10 storey parking will have the capacity of 180 car parking and it will be operated mechanically. PCB has approached Mumbai based company for this work and it will cost around 12.39 crores. This parking work will be completed in around 14 months. People who come for shopping on MG road and East Street will be benefited by this facility. It will be convenient for people as well as for traffic goers. As per the officials, PCB is also preparing some plans to make facility of battery operated vehicles operated to and from the parking area for the convenience of people.
So if you want to go for shopping or relish on famous food items from MG road, you need to worry about the parking issue, as there would be ample allotted space available for parking of your vehicle.
