Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Passes away at 93
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, honored with the country’s highest civilian honor ‘Bharat Ratna’, has died at AIIMS in Delhi on 5:05 pm Thursday evening. He was 93 years old and was admitted to AIIMS from last nine weeks. They were placed on Life Support System on Wednesday.
The leaders were going to come to AIIMS to get information about Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s health since morning. On Thursday afternoon again Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited AIIMS to meet Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Apart from them, several opposition leaders, including BJP president Amit Shah, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Amar Singh, Arvind Kejriwal also came to meet him.
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s condition remains fragile and he is on the life-saving system from yesterday. The 93-year-old leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi (AIIMS) on 11th June after complaining of kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection, difficulty in getting urine and chest issue.AIIMS said in a statement last night, ‘Unfortunately, their condition has worsened. Their condition remains serious and they have been kept on the life-saving system. According to the medical bulletin issued by AIIMS, their condition has deteriorated in the past 24 hours.
