Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ fails to make an impact on Day 6
Akshay Kumar starrer movie ‘Gold’ has made a fantastic start at the box office. Earlier, 70 crore rupees came to the film’s account on weekends, but on Monday the collection of the film has seen a huge decline. On Monday, the film has earned a lot less than expected. According to Box Office India figures, on Monday, the movie has received 3.85 crore rupees. With this, Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy starrer in the first 6 days, the film has made a business of Rs 74.25 crore. It is known that ‘Gold’ collected 25.25 crores on the first day, 8 crores on the second day, 10 crores on the third day, 12 crores on the fourth day and Rs. 15.25 crore on the fifth day. The weekend film’s earnings are Rs 70 crores. However, on Monday, the film collected only Rs 3.85 crore.
John Abraham’s film ‘Satyameva Jayate’ was released with ‘Gold’ on Independence Day. There were Fewer screens for ‘Satyamev Jayate’ compared to ‘Gold’. Despite this, John’s film did a turnover of Rs 50.50 crore on its weekend. However, looking at Monday’s earnings, the film has a business of Rs 3.35 crore on the sixth day of release. Let me tell you, Satyamev Jayate earned Rs 18.50 crore on the first day, 7.50 crore on the second day, 7.50 crore on the third day, 7.25 crore on the fourth day and 9.75 crores on the fifth day. The film has so far managed to do the business of Rs 53.85 crore.
