A woman being driven to hospital dies inside the car in Hinjawadi
A car carrying a sick woman was suddenly caught fire in the road at Wakad. There were four people in this car. Three of the passengers were found to be safely out. However, ill women were unconscious due to fire. So she could not be taken out. Sangeeta Manish Hivale (44), who died on the spot, on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway in the Hinjewadi area around midnight. The incident took place at around midnight 1 am on Sunday.
Sangeeta Manish Hivale (age 44, Nakhate Vasti, Saundarya colony, Rahatni) is the name of the woman who died. Sangeeta was employed at Central governments DTTC in Bhosari. On Sunday night Sangeeta’s blood pressure decreased, she was being taken to a hospital at the Global Hospital in Hinjewadi for treatment. She was accompanied by her brother John D. Borde (age 40), her mother Maya Daniel Borde (65 years of age) and son Simon Manish Hivale (15 years of age, all residents of Nakhate Vasti, beauty colony, Rahatni). The doctor said that Sangeeta could not be treated at the Global Hospital. So she was being taken to the Birla Hospital in Thergaon by the same car. A fire broke out in the car near the Sayaji Hotel at Wakad around midnight. After the fire, other relatives of Sangeeta got out quickly. However, Sangeeta got already unconscious in the car, so she already lost control. The elderly mother, the brother and the child tried to take her out. However, they did not succeed in it. No one came to help the fire due to midnight. Yogesh Ramekar, who travel on the road, gave information about the incident to the fire brigade.
