Here is a list of 10 awesome women entrepreneurs who are tipping the scale in the start-up ecosystem.

1. RICHA KARRicha Kar, the founder and CEO of Zivame which is an online lingerie store for Indian women. Retail stores in India have a limited supply of style choices. She changed that all when she founded Zivame , a multi-brand lingerie portal.

Her story is the rarest entrepreneurial success story to set up a business in an industry as lingerie and disrupt it, is something to be admired about.

2. SHUBHRA CHADDA

Her idea to deliver the consumers whose need for good gifting options were unsatisfied. Chadda spent a year in planning out the concept, designs, suppliers, pricing and retail strategy and founded Chumbak with her husband Vivek Prabhakar. There first product included magnets, keychains and cushion covers.

The brand has grown over years into a lifestyle brand with 100 products category.

3. SUCHITA SALWAN

Suchita Salwan, the founder and CEO of little black book(LBB). The platform is about introducing cities encouraging people to go to those places and have a quality time. It all started from Delhi(city she’s from) and has been expanding and is now active in seven cities across India.

4. SAIREE CHAHAL

Sairee Chahal is the founder and CEO of sheroes.in, an online career destination for women. Sheroes.in engages with business to help women connect with female talent in forms of customers, employees, partners and owners.

5. RICHA SINGH

Richa Singh is a founder and CEO of YourDost. It is a team of expert counselors who helps you deal with emotions whether at work or in personal life. Every body needs a friend to chin you up when things look bad, YourDost is that friend which tends to know you more and help you up.

6. KANIKA TEKRIWAL

After battling cancer, Kanika founded JetSetGo, India’s first ever marketplace for chartered planes. JetSetGo is a marketplace that allows its customers to book private planes and helicopters for business visits to wedding destinations.

7. SUPRIYA PAUL

Supriya Paul who decided to take up CA classes because her friends opted for it. Disappointed with a tried and test career choices as CA, Supriya wanted much more for herself and the students like her who were stuck in a rat race. It was the right moment when she met her co-founder Shobit Bhangaat in a party, realizing that they both shared the same passion. Together they founded JoshTalks. JoshTalks is a platform showcasing inspiring stories from across the country.

8. PRANSHU BHANDARI

She founded the company Hello English, when she realized that learning english is a growing demand and saw a bigger market in India for English. Hello English mixes gamification and context to offer interesting way to learn the language. Users uses Twitter and Facebook, read news in English and translate selected text in native languages so they understand better.

9. FALGUNI NAYAR

Who would have thought buying makeup online would be so easy. A former investment banker turned entrepreneur created a beauty and personal care called Nykaa.

10. VINEETA SINGH

Vineeta Singh founded a company named as Fab Bag which allows customer to subscribe to a monthly bag of curated beauty and personal care products from more than 100 international brands for as low as 400 per month.
