Udta Punjab Review

Review of Udta Punjab – The Story line of the movie is based on drug problem in Punjab where almost every third youth is linked with the drug menace. Punjab’s popular singer and composer Daljit Dosanjh is debuting in the movie as a Police Inspector who used to accept bribe and allow Drug supply in the city. Kareena Kapoor Khan is portraying as Anti Drug Activist who is trying her best to eradicate this social sin completely from the land of Gurus. Shahid Kapoor carries dual image of villain who turns Hero in the latter part of the movie.

The initial 30 mins are bit slow as compared to later half of the movie which comprises of rock music, action and drama. The next 1 hour evolves the true meaning of the story which goes deeper and finds lot more interesting where Kareena Kapoor and Diljit are shown performing Drug investigation. The last one hour is terrific with lot of action and thriller difficult for a normal light hearted person to digest. It comprises of the side effects of Drug usage which has a cheerful but sad and emotional ending.
