Results of this State Board examination were out on 6th June 2016 and an overall success rate was recorded to be 89.56% this year. Girls have again beaten the boys and received good marks than them. It has become a trend that the female students are achieving more success than boys.
Pune Division’s SSC Pass Percentage Drops
Konkan has surmounted all nine divisions by curbing a figure 96.56% while Latur, the severely drought hit region of Maharashtra, has suffered from the lowest rank with just 81.54 percent in the list. Congratulating wishes has been showered over the successful candidates, while the students with failure in less than three subjects have re-appear for the exams on 16th July.
94.6 percent Girls in Pune division have overwhelmed the percentage of boys passing which is just 2.37%. 101 students are still not known to their results as it is pending. 91 cheating cases has been found and the board is planning to take strict action against the illegal activity practiced by the red – handedly caught students.
Students with the above mentioned passing criteria of subjects can take allowed to keep term scheme and pass the subjects. Third opportunity to clear the subjects will be offered to the students who will again face failure in July 2016 exams. Gangadhar Mhamane, chairperson of Maharashtra State Board Secondary – Higher Secondary Education has stated the above lines of guidance for the students with unsatisfactory performances.
