CM Fadnavis Said Pune To Be Developed As Start-up Hub – Pune is emerging as one of the fast developing city with many new projects and establishments are being roped into the city. Popularly known as the educational hub of the state and also emerged as the IT Hub in over past decade, Pune is attracting many new aspiring entrepreneurs. Many new International organizations are established in the industrial areas of Chakan, Bhosari which has come up as a global face in the recent years.
It is good news for the city as it is going to add another feather of achievement with recently honorable chief minister of Maharashtra Mr. Devendra Fadnavis declared that the state government is thinking of developing a Start-up hub in the city. He added that conditions are favorable in Pune and bears the right ecosystem that can beat Bengaluru as the start-up capital of the country.
This announcement was made by the minister at the inauguration of the Force Motors facility in Chakan on Wednesday. He said that State Government will support and provide all the necessary facilities to the aspiring entrepreneurs to build and form business in the state. “Our Industry department is looking after and working to facilitate ease of doing business and are providing red carpet to industries and establishments in the state.
Fadnavis also stated that we are granting permission in a shortest span of time being issued within 24 hours, one month and two months period. Maitri is the government electronic platform developed by the industry department which handles the issuance permission to help the industries conveniently. He stated that Industry department is keen to support industries in the state and is acting as a facilitator than a regulator. India has to develop as a manufacturing hub and Maharashtra state will play a crucial role in this initiative.
Force Motors would be producing engines and axles for Mercedes Benz cars at the 1, 30,000 square feet area in Chakan. There has been an investment of Rs.100 crs and has eigth lines that produce and test up to 14 engine variants.
